my .02 is that with the exception of their first couple of tours circa 69, Zeppelin were very sloppy sounding without their overdubs. They actually sound better than I thought they might, sounds better than their last tour in 79 imo. The setlist was pretty standard with no surprises except Good Times/Bad times and For you Life. I'm looking forward to hearing those two.

Yep, I haven't heard many Zep boots that were very exciting. Maybe it sounded good to them in their stupor. Their studio work is life changing though.

oh yeah, in the studio they were HUGE. Even the Song Remains the Same ( the soundtrack not the movie )is incredible after they cleaned it up.
